Eminönü and Sarayburnu beaches on the European Side were among the spots preferred by Istanbulites. Some citizens, who spent Sunday having a picnic with their families, went into the sea to cool off. Some people tried to cool off by sitting under the tree with the chairs they brought, while others took a walk.

Some citizens who wanted to cool off also swam in the Bosphorus. In addition to those who swam and sunbathed on Bebek Beach, those who used the shaded areas in Bebek Park rested on benches and camping chairs and had a picnic.
