Meeting point of twin students: 212 twins graduated from this school

5th grade students enrolled in Makbule Süleyman Alkan Secondary School, which was opened in the 2003-2004 academic year in Buca district and where 1600 students received education this year, had the opportunity to meet their teachers and new friends within the scope of the orientation week.

The school, which has made a name for itself with its twin students, continues its education with 4 twin students in the 6th and 7th grades and 9 twin students in the 8th grade.

With 9 twins enrolled in the 5th grade this year, the number of twins in the school reached 26.

Some of the twins, who are sometimes confused by their teachers and friends, continue their education in the same classes, while others continue their education in different classes.

This feature of the school makes it the primary choice of parents who have twin children.

Makbule Süleyman Alkan Secondary School Principal Hasan Basri Karaoğlu said that twin students have been applying for registration to the school for 23 years and that quality education comes first in choosing the school.

Expressing that he is pleased with the interest shown in the school, Karaoğlu said, "The fact that we have twin students in all classes, starting from the fifth grade, has become a characteristic feature of our school. It is the school of twins or the school of triplets. It also causes a target number to be determined for the children who will be enrolled in this school next year. We want this from the children, since they came to this school, we want them to represent this school properly with their behavior, lifestyle and achievements."

Karaoğlu stated that at school, twins can have indistinguishable features and appearances, and day by day, twins can be distinguished from each other with their clothes, behavior, achievements and abilities.
