Explaining that they struggle with heat in summer and rain, mud and cold in winter, Tüfekçi said that forest work is heavy physical work.
Sebahattin Tüfekçi said, "We do not only look at the forest in terms of income; forestry has become our culture of life." he said.
Forest villager Bayram Ali İçen explained that he started forestry as his father's profession and that he carried the logs to the designated areas with a tractor.
Stating that taking care of forests is important for their healthy development, İçen said, "If you do not take care of these forests, these forests will burn, they will not breathe, they will not grow, they will not develop." he said.
Stating that the person who enters the forest must first love the forest, İçen said that forestry is not just a source of income for them.
İçen said, "When we enter it, we feel relieved and breathe." He explained the bond they established with the forest with his words.
